For use with breeze block and house brick. The 22x85 metal sleeve is inserted into a 22mm wide, dust free, drilled hole, before resin is applied to fix an internal threaded socket.
Instructions for fixing a bolt on hold to breeze block and house brick
1. Drill a 22mm hole with 22mm masonry bit (SDS fitting or standard) to a depth of over 90mm.
2. Use a brush and airgun to clear dust from the drilled hole.
3. Insert a mesh sleeve.
4. Fill with resin such a C-mix.
5. Twist internal threaded socket into the resin filled hole until it is flush with the wall surface.
6. Allow resin to dry according to the resin manufacture’s instructions.
7. Fix climbing hold to the wall using a countersink bolt and allen key.
